The specialization "Biomedical Process Engineering" is offered by the Institute of Interfacial Engineering and Plasma Technology (IGVP) in cooperation with the German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research (DITF) Denkendorf with participation of ITFT.
Within the lectures, students gain in-depth knowledge of the development, manufacturing and application of medical, diagnostic, biotechnology as well as biomedical products. This mainly includes implants, products and procedures for regenerative medicine, basic knowledge of biomaterials, diagnostic as well as therapeutic procedures.
Depending on master's program, the specialization consists of different modules, whereby the lectures in both modules are identical.
